The Texas High Seed Rail and Transportation Corporation (THSRTC) is a not-for-profit corporation consisting of local transportation and elected officials representing cities, counties, rail districts and seaports along the South Central High-Speed Rail Corridor which have come together in a grassroots, collaborative effort to realize the first-ever high-speed rail passenger system and multi-modal transportation corridor in Texas.

Our members represent some of the region's most densely-populated and economically vibrant areas. Our growing membership and their designated representatives include the Cities of College Station, Grapevine, Hillsboro, Irving, North Richland Hills, North Little Rock(AR), Southlake, and Texarkana(AR).

It also includes Bowie County, Brazos County, Franklin County, the North East Texas Rural Rail District, the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce and Scott & White Hospital. Additionally, Texas Southern University, Texas State Technical College, Texas A&M University, and the Texas Transportation Institute serve as significant resource agencies to THSRTC. THSRTC is a proven performer. The THSRTC's grassroots, "bottom-up" approach of utilizing and maximizing public support sets it apart from other high-speed rail efforts across the country. THSRTC is about providing innovative solutions to growing transportation issues through a plan that connects millions of people in the fastest growing area of one of the fastest growing regions in the nation, linking airports and facilitating our military's ability to efficiently and quickly deploy to protect our homeland. THSRTC is engaged with federal and state lawmakers, works closely with local, state, federal and military officials, and meets with key business leaders across Texas and around the world to achieve innovative, multi-modal transportation solutions.

To maintain the quality of life that we highly cherish, it is essential that these issues are addressed in a proactive manner. Therefore, we believe that the future is now, and we invite anyone that is interested to join our collaborative effort in being the region's voice for the development of world-class high-speed inter-city passenger rail.
