     On October 24, 2002 the Texas High Speed Rail & Transportation Corporation (THSRTC) was incorporated as a not-for-profit Texas corporation with tax-exempt status under Section 501 (C)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code. Since then, the Corporation has experienced tremendous growth and has gained support at the local, regional, state and national levels as it strives to develop true world-class high-speed intercity passenger rail capable of operating at speeds in excess of 200 miles per hour to the South Central and Gulf Coast High-Speed Rail Corridors.  Through its unique grassroots approach, THSRTC enjoys the active and enthusiastic support of cities, counties and rail districts along the Texas T-Bone High-Speed Rail Corridor and the exrtensions thereof from Dallas /FtWorth International Airport along this I-30 corridor into Arkansas.  In addition, 23 members of Congress from three states participate in the THSRTC congressional caucus and THSRTC legiuslative caucus enjoys the active participation of 42 lawmakers from Texas and Arkansas..

Fast Forward, the High Speed Rail newsletter, is published several times a year and contains articles and information that are timely and important to the Texas High Speed Rail and Transportation Corporation.
